The Rampe is a production house for theatre, performance, dance and music in Stuttgart that offers a stage for contemporary theatrical forms, aesthetics and working methods. Performances in urban spaces, wide-ranging collaborations and participative neighbourhood projects promote exchange with a heterogeneous public. As part of co-productions, guest performances, festivals and residencies, national and international artists present themselves at the Rampe, providing important impulses for the local theatre scene. For many local groups and collectives, it is a venue, meeting place and long-term collaboration partner. Every two years, the Rampe organises the 6 Tage frei festival. In 2024, the FREISCHWIMMEN Festival will take place as a double festival 10 Tage Freischwimmen in Stuttgart. In 2019, the Rampe was awarded the German Federal Theatre Prize.
