Mika Bangemann is an undisciplined artist. In Mika’s works, elements of puppet theater meet strategies of dance performance and punk. Mika devotes herself to the states of the in-between, the oscillation between object/subject, human/animal, visible/invisible and the feeling of loss of form. This gives rise to resistant, fluid and more-than-human physicalities that constantly reveal new connections to the world.
