TIGER’S KITCHEN (Düsseldorf)
Biography:
TIGERS’ KITCHEN was founded in 2024 by Svea Kirschmeier and Nadja Duesterberg. Two queer, performative theater makers who create spaces for new narratives in order to reflect on the invisible and place it at the center. Following works about life in the gastro and leisure pool scene, they now dare to merge magic and biographical stories in a magic show. The good old patriarchy and its stubborn structures are back in the mix.

TIGERS’ KITCHEN focus on the absences of their mothers and tell stories that would otherwise remain hidden. An evening between show, silence, magic, sadness and a trick. This magic show invites you to reflect on female identities and the challenges of a patriarchal society. And the sawed-up virgin, of course!
