Freischwimmen project:

KNEADING TO THE 3RD MILLENNIA is a possibly emotional expedition that begins as a research in 2020 an escalates to a performance in 2021. The title is inspired by the feline energy field dynamics described in Dancing with Cats (2014) by Burton Silver and Heather Busch. The project research starts from the from notion of emotional body in the act of dancing and performing, following a core research question: How acutely and fully can we feel in the doing? (Audre Lorde, 1978).

Statement:

FREISCHWIMMEN enabled me to work internationally and move my work and research outside of Vienna. My time with FREISCHWIMMEN was prolific and exciting and it offered me momentum to professionalize my working structure.
