Biographie:
CHICKS* freies performancekollektiv unites experts and interdisciplinary artists in the idea of a queerfeminist network. In intensive research processes CHICKS* search for common ground in their different life realities. CHICKS* question social images of gender, sexuality and power. In their performances they combine interactive and installative encounter formats with a visual theatre of objects and atmospheres.

CHICKS* prom night is a feminist couples’ dance event, performative prom, queer standard dance course, power-critical discussion format in dance and the future utopia of the dance event.
In the development of the piece CHICKS* deals with the (de-)construction of heteronormative, pop-cultural ways of presenting heterosexual white (love) couples dancing.
